Olympic bobsled champions, Kaillie Humphries and Heather Moyse have been chosen to carry Canada’s maple leaf into Olympic Stadium for tonight’s Closing Ceremony.
The duo has taken home Olympic gold medals twice in the 2-man bobsled. This year they defeated their American rival, Elana Meyers on runs.
Humphries, 28, from Calgary, Alberta, has won two World Championships. Moyse, 35, is from Summerside, Prince Edward Island. Moyse had hip surgery a little over a year ago, but bounced back strong for the Olympics. How supremely exciting for the Olympic bobsled duo to be carrying the maple leaf flag for Canada during tonight’s closing.
Canadians will have much to cheer about as their double gold Olympic bobsled duo carries the flag for Canada at tonight’s closing ceremonies.
