Need to Identify or Locate Vitamin Store Robber
Miami-Dade County, Fla.–The Miami-Dade Police Department is investigating a robbery at a vitamin store in Southwest Miami-Dade that resulted in an employee injured. Investigators say that the victim, an employee, was approached by an individual and a young girl at the store. The subject asked the employee for products located behind a locked plastic divider.
Once the subject had the merchandise in his hands, he turned to the young girl and asked her to leave the store. Shortly after, the subject fled the store with the products but was confronted outside by the employee. A struggle ensued between the victim and subject for the property, where he threw the employee to the ground causing a laceration to her right hand. Detectives are asking for the help of the community in identifying and/or locating this individual. The subject then fled the area in a newer model Hyundai Sonata, heading southbound. The video surveillance may be obtained from the FTP site.
