Gunmen Storm High School in Brazil


On Wednesday, March 13, 2019, two gunmen, who were former students stormed the Raul Brasil State School in Suzano, in the state of São Paulo.

The gunmen entered the school opening fire, killing eight people and then turned their guns on themselves. At this time, all that is known is that at least nine other people were injured.

According to Twitter, among the dead were the two shooters, two school employees, five students and the owner of a rental company, who was the uncle of one of the shooters. The shooters had stolen a car from the school to get to the school.

Another message stated that there were 10 dead: Employees Marilena Ferreira Vierira Omezo and Eliana Regina De Oliveira Xavier. The students were Pablo Henrique Rodriguez. Cleiton Antonio Ribeiro, Caio Oliveira, Samuel Melquiades Sliva de Oliveira, and João Victor Ramos Lemos.

Before the attack on the school, the gunmen killed the owner of a video store. The gunmen were identified as 17-year-old Guiherme Taucci Monteiro and 25-year-old Luiz Henrique de Castro.
