After four years, the new season of “Euphoria” has finally been announced. According to the official logline, Season 3 “follows a group of childhood friends wrestling with the virtue of faith, the possibility of redemption, and the problem of evil.”
“Euphoria” Season 3 will debut on April 12, 2026, for eight episodes, which will air weekly on Sundays.
‘Euphoria’ Season 3 Cast
The returning cast includes Hunter Schafer, Zendaya, Sydney Sweeney, Jacob Elordi, Maude Apatow, Alexa Demie, Chloe Cherry, Martha Kelly, Toby Wallace, Adelale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, and the late Eric Dance. HBO has also suggested Colman Domingo will return as a guest star.
“Euphoria” is created, written, directed, and executive produced by Sam Levinson. Collider says, “the show remains one of HBO’s biggest youth-culture flashpoints, for better and for worse. It is controversial, over-discussed, and still one of the network’s most recognizable brands.”
Eric Dane
“Euphoria” was one of Dane’s final performances before passing away at the age of 53.
Dane died on Feb. 19, 2026, following a battle with ALS. Last April, he returned to production with the rest of the Season 3 cast.
“I feel fortunate that I am able to continue working and am looking forward to returning to [the] set of ‘Euphoria’ next week,: Dane told People magazine at that time.
The “Grey’s Anatomy” alum joined the “Euphoria” cast for the show’s debut season alongside Elordi, Zendaya, and Sweeney in 2019. Dane played Cal Jacobs, a real-estate businessman and closeted bisexual father of Nate Jacobs, played by Elordi.
Melissa Bank, Dane’s representative, confirmed his death in a statement to USA Today, noting he “spent his final days surrounded by dear friends, his devoted wife, and his two beautiful daughters, Billie and Georgia, who were the center of his world.”
Bank continued, “Throughout his journey with ALS, Eric became a passionate advocate for awareness and research. He was determined to make a difference for others facing the same fight.”
